Join CAAFlog editors and friends for a one hour lunchtime discussion about the challenges of representing alleged war criminals in courts-martial and military commissions. Co-panelists Michel Paradis and Colby Vokey will each share general thoughts, followed by open comments and questions from the audience.

Michel Paradis represents Ali al-Bahlul, the alleged media tech for Al-Qaeda during the 9/11 attacks, and Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri, the alleged mastermind of the USS Cole bombing.

Colby Vokey has represented numerous servicemembers accused of murder for combat actions, including SSgt Wuterich of the so-called Haditha Massacre, and enemy combatant Omar Khadr,  who pled guilty of murdering an Army special forces sergeant in Afghanistan.
